TPE #12 / Hero Arts mayflowers

Mothers' day is coming soon and I have been busy making a few different cards for this special day. I am submitting this card to 2 challenges, the pink elephant challenge #12 and the HA flicker group challenge mayflowers. Items used: SU DP, MS lace punch, HA art flowers stamped w/ HA manuscript background stamp, butterfly stamp from HA woodland creatures, Happy mother's day stamp from My sentiments exactly, brads, button, linen thread.

Here's another card using the colors pink and turquise. This Bo Bunny paper is so pretty and cards with this paper are dancing in my head. Items used: Hero Arts holiday dove and from the heart greetings stamps, Bo Bunny paper, scallop punch.

Garden Flowers

The minute I saw this Stampin Up set I wanted it. I love the geometric shapes of the flowres and am taken with this pink and turquise color combo. Items used: Stampin Up garden greetings stamps, rick rack ribbon, color box inks and black metal stickers.

Snowy Spring in Colorado April 17, 2009

So, we are having a blizzard today, April 17, Springtime in the rockies :) The snow started yesterday and is still coming down. It's about 3 - 4 feet high so far w/ no end in sight. I took these pictures of the birds in the trees on the North side of our home. My DH loves the birds and we have many bird feeders in our trees and it's CHOW time. Don't these pictures remind you of some stamps you've seen :)

This fun card is made with one of my favorite Stamping Bella stamps. Aren't the animals on this card adorable and the little princess is priceless :) I used the cuttlebug swirls folder for a piece of the background on this card too. you make me smile - CPS 110 & TPE 9

I made this card for 2 challenges this week, Card Positioning Systems 110 and The Pink Elephan #9. The little birds are among my favorite Hero Arts stamps. My friend Nancy sold me her Cuttlebug for $20 and loaned me 3 embossing folders to play with, so of course, my loving birds and all, I used the Cuttlebug birds and swirls embossing folder first. Hope you like this card, I'm very happy with it. Items used: HA holiday doves and all occasion stamps, Cuttlebug birds& swirls, lacepunch, buttons, thread.
