The Girls go for a Spin...

When we were teenagers we loved to go for a spin in someone's car. Of course, back in the day we could pool our pennies for a dollar or two and have enough gas to cruise around all night :) Anyway, when I saw this photo I knew the girls needed to receive a card from me to remind them of our "FUN" spins around town. And, yes we are all still friends and e-talk regularly. Enjoy!! Items used: B&W photo, watercolor pencils, twine, SU Antique Brad, DP.

Let's Do Lunch

The Play Date Cafe is celebrating their One Year Anniversary with Challenge #52 - pink, orange and yellow, check it out HERE.

I find vintage images of "The Girls" so much fun, and when I saw this image of "The Girls" in the lunch line, I thought what fun to make a Let's do Lunch card. I spruced the photo up with the colors pink, orange and yellow and viola :)
Items used: B&W photo, ribbon, sparkle gems, DP.

Pretty Pumpkins

The challenge this week over at wee Memories is to create a project with the theme of "anything that is celebrated". Thanksgiving is a food-filled celebration of all the things in life we are thankful for, and one of my favorite holidays (I love to eat, especially pumpkin pie and corn bread stuffing :). Here is the card I created for this week's challenge! Items used: Imaginisce pumpkin stamp, Hero Arts sentiment stamp, Cosmo Cricket ribbon, brads and Crate paper and Bo Bunny DP's.

Our Crazy Cat, Boo!

So, our cat, Boo, likes to sit on the front window ledge. Mind you the window leadge is about 10 feet high (we have a vaulted ceiling). He jumps up on his cat condo and leaps to the window ledge with ease. He sits there and surveys the rest of us in the room and eats an occasional fly or 2. Mr. Boo Boo is a gem, a true "Crazy Cat". He likes to torment the dogs and they in turn like to chase him. It's a regular 3-ring circus in our house at times and I enjoy every minute of them, my little fur-family :)

PDCC 50 - Melon & Green

The challenge this week over at the Play Date Cafe is a twist on the traditional holiday colors of green and red; the challenge is to use the colors green and MELON. These colors are wonderful together and I believe we have a new color combo for Christmas from here on :) Items used: Hero Arts Merriest wishes stamp, gold star, sheer ribbon, glitter, uniball white gel pen, Nesties, Cuttlebug snowflake folder.
