Hi Friend....

This week is the Muse Card Club's 200th challenge, 200!!  I was happy when I found this challenge, We are always given such nice cards for inspiration and this week we have a pretty card by Jenni Murray to case, head over and take a look, there's still time to enter the challenge.  I took inspiration for my card from the green leaves, the red flower and the polka dots on Jenni's card below:

I am also entering my card into this week's challenge at Inkspirational; the challenge is designer's choice - Polka Dots.

So glad you stopped by.  We had a beautiful day full of sunshine today :)

A Flowery Hi

I just love this "hi" die from Winnie and Walter.  I saw a card made by Janet that was just wonderful and went right over the W& W online store, purchased the "hi" die and cased her card, check it out.  I used Altenew's Henneh Elements flowers for the background; colored the flowers with Zig markers.

As it turns out my card is applicable to 3 challenges this week:

Darnell's NBUS Challenge - Never Before Used Schtuff
and
Less Is More - New Beginnings (I took this to mean New)
and
Simon Says Stamp - Work it Wednesday

So happy you stopped by today; it's snowing in the Rockies :)

Muse Challenge #199

I made this card for this week's challenge at the Muse Card Club.  I fussy cut the heart and cut the black strips of paper on the white base in different sizes.  Added a few red gems and a card is made.

I took my inspiration from Tracey's card (below) by using a pink wash after I stamped the heart and putting a little glitter heart in the middle of the larger heart.

Happy you stopped by today.  Time to make Love cards :)

Inkspirational Challenge 126

Hello There!  The challenge at Inkspirational this week is the word "Flutter".  At first I thought of using dragonflies because they do flutter about, but I didn't have the right-sized dragonfly stamp so I went with these cute, little birds.  The birds are old stamps from Hero Arts and they are fluttering about the flower octagons from Stampin' Up.

So happy your visiting my blog, our bird feeders are full and the birds are fluttering :)

A flowery hi....

Hi, I made this card for challenge #81 at AAA Cards.  The challenge is the word "Hello".  After I made the card I realized the challenge was for a CAS card; not sure my card fits the CAS bill, but I'm entering it anyway.  I chose to use "Hi" instead of hello because it fit on my card much better.

The pretty stamp is from Pink Ink and is called Burlap & Lace.  I colored it with my Zig markers and am happy with the way the coloring turned out.  I keep going at it and am hoping my coloring is getting better.

Glad you stopped by today, hope you're not too cold where you are :)

Muse Challenge #198

Hi, been missing a while because my laptop was down.  Well, fixed that, bought a Surface Pro 4 and all is good with the world.  I made this card for challenge #198 at the Muse Card Club.

We were given this colorful, nice CAS card by Anita Bowden for inspiration this week:

Thanks for stopping by today, snowing on the front range and a little cold out there :)
